Pskov workers strike helped to obtain the release of retained salaries

On August 1, employees of the enterprise "Blagoustroistvo" went on strike. The strike was organized by the workers in order to obtain the release of the retained earnings.

After the beginning of the protest action, the strikers received a notice about the transfer of money to their salary cards. However, the employees were not given full amounts of their earnings. Thus, the strike ended in a partial victory of the workers.

Strike by seamen from the Rostov region

On August 1, Russian citizens started a strike in the Turkish port of Tuzla. The sailors of the ship, assigned to the port of the city of Taganrog, resorted to the strike because of the long delay in payment of wages.

At the time of the start of the protest, the crew members had not received the money for the period from March to July 2017.

To protect their labor rights, the crew intends to demand the negotiation of a collective agreement.

Rally in Saratov

In the evening of August 10, a protest action was held in the Victory Park of the Leninsky district of the city against the abolition of regional benefits. More than 300 people took part in the rally.

The speakers told the Saratov people about the plans of the regional authorities to reduce the benefits, including veterans, for payment of housing services. Questions of lawlessness by management companies, corruption in the implementation of improvement programs, repair of outside areas, recreation areas of the city, as well as problems of the local water canal and "Gorelectrotrans" were raised.

Desperate protest action by Novosibirsk workers

In early August, builders, who did not receive a salary for several months, climbed the tower crane and demanded payment for their labour.

After the workers were brought their money, they climbed back down. The debt to them was more than 200 thousand rubles.

The first such case in Novosibirsk occurred in May. In the Oktyabrsky district of the city, a builder climbed to the boom of a tower crane and announced the decision to jump down due to months of salary delays. As a result, the man was paid his wages.

Strike by workers in Georgia

On August 9, more than 100 employees who are laying a 12-kilometer stretch of the Samtredia-Grigoleti road, gathered at the company's office in Lanchkhuti and demanded higher wages, as well as better working conditions and food. In addition, the strikers announced the need for timely issuance of special clothing.

The salary, according to the participants in the strike, is about 14-19 laris, which is only 6-8 dollars a day.

Hurricane Irma, with its destructive power, battered our island for 72 hours, beginning the morning of September 8 until this Sunday afternoon. With winds that surpassed 250 kilometers per hour on occasion, it crossed the north of the country from Baracoa - hit hard by another phenomenon of this type almost a year ago - to the outskirts of Cárdenas. However, given its immense size, practically no province was spared its effects.
Described by experts as the largest ever to form in the Atlantic, this meteorological phenomenon caused severe damage to the country, which, precisely because of its scope, has yet to be quantified. A preliminary view shows evidence of an impact on housing, the electrical system, and agriculture.
 

 It also struck some of our principal tourist destinations, but damage will be repaired before the beginning of the high season. We have on hand for this the human resources and materials needed, given that this constitutes one of the principal sources of income in the national economy.

These have been difficult days for our people, who, in a few hours time, have seen what was constructed with great effort hit by a devastating hurricane. Images from the last few hours speak for themselves, as does the spirit of resistance and victory of our people that is regenerated with every adversity.
 

In these difficult circumstances, the unity of Cubans has prevailed, the solidarity among neighbors, discipline in response to instructions issued by the National Civil Defense General Staff and Defense Councils at all levels, the professionalism of specialists at the Institute of Meteorology, the immediacy of our communications media and its journalists, the support of mass organizations, as well as the cohesion of National Defense Council leadership bodies. Special mention for all of our women, including leaders of the Party and government, who with aplomb and maturity provided leadership and confronted the difficult situation.
 

 




The days that are coming will be ones of much work, during which the strength and indestructible confidence in the Revolution of Cubans will again be demonstrated. This is not a time to mourn, but to construct again that which the winds of Irma attempted to destroy.
With organization, discipline, and the coordination of all our structures, we will move forward as we have done on previous occasions. No one should be fooled; the task we have before us is huge, but with a people like ours, we will win the most important battle: recovery.
At this critical moment, the Cuban Workers’ Federation and the National Association of Small Farmers, along with all other mass organizations, must redouble efforts to eliminate as quickly as possible the trail left by this destructive event.
One principle remains immovable: the Revolution will leave no one unprotected and measures are already being adopted to ensure that no Cuban family is left to their fate.
 

As has been customary every time a meteorological phenomenon has struck us, there have been many expressions of solidarity received from all parts of the world. Heads of state and government, political organizations, and friends in solidarity organizations have expressed the desire to help us, who we thank in the name of more than eleven million Cuban men and women.
 

We face the recovery with the example of Comandante en Jefe de la Revolución Cubana, Fidel Castro Ruz, who, with his unwavering confidence in victory and iron will, taught us that nothing is impossible. In these difficult hours, his legacy makes us strong and unites us.

ON THE OCCASION OF THE 69TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA

The DPRK was created by the Great Leader, Comrade Kim Il Sung, on September 9, 1948. This socialist state was created as a result of almost 50 years of bloody struggle against the Japanese colonialists, which ruined the country and turned its inhabitants into slaves, and young women into sexual slaves in soldier's Japanese brothels.

The DPRK is now celebrating its 69th anniversary. Without any outside help, relying on the patriotism and enthusiasm of its people under the leadership of its great leaders - Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, using only its resources, the DPRK has evolved over the years of hard struggle and labor for the benefit of the Fatherland into an economically and politically independent a state that was able to make wide use of the world scientific and technological progress and its own developments for the development of its scientific base.

  

 

Nowadays, the DPRK is a highly developed state that possesses its own nuclear technology and atomic weapons, so necessary to protect and preserve its independence in the face of deep confrontation with the United States throughout all the years since its inception. Confrontations with the United States, which never stopped organizing more and more frightening sanctions against the DPRK, aimed at the economic elimination of the DPRK, threatening the preventive use of nuclear weapons. But the louder the US squealed with weapons, threatening sanctions to the freedom-loving people, the more hatred grew among Koreans and the irresistible desire to create the opportunity to threaten the US itself. This desire for today has come true.

The DPRK in response to the ominous threats of the United States is testing one type of ballistic missile after another. The DPRK declared itself to be a nuclear power in 2005, in the beginning of December 2012 launched its first Earth satellite, "Kwangmanson-3", on January 6, 2016, announced the hydrogen bomb test, February 7, 2016. launched a space satellite - "Kvanmenson-4", and July 4, 2017. on the US Independence Day - a national holiday in America - carried out a test developed by DPRK scientists of a powerful ballistic rocket of vertical take-off.

July 29, 2017 In the DPRK, a new test of the advanced intercontinental ballistic missile Hwaseon-14 was carried out, announcing that now the territory of the United States is under the sights of Korean missiles. New Korean missiles in their technical parameters and ballistics have ended the myth of the inaccessibility of the territory of the United States for strikes against them by the DPRK. The DPRK has thwarted US banditry on the world stage in Northeast Asia. According to the statements of the Koreans for any military provocation by the United States, the KPA Air Force will inflict a destructive nuclear missile strike.

The latest test in the DPRK of the intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwaseon-14" caused a panic shock in the United States due to the fact that now they can receive an adequate response to their blackmail and military lawlessness in relation to the DPRK.

With a fear by the United States like a thief who was caught red-handed, there raised the scream of alleged violations by the DPRK of the UN Security Council decisions, forced their vassals, including China and Russia now, to vote for the UN Security Council resolution on sanctions against the DPRK and asked Russia for help and China - "to curb the DPRK, to ban the testing of Korean ballistic missiles."

The DPRK does not intend to attack anyone, but only defends its national interests, living and working on the principle of "One to one hundred!". The creation and testing of its nuclear weapons for the DPRK is currently the only effective factor in preserving not only its independence, but also the civilization itself on the Korean peninsula in the context of the US's unlimited banditry on the world stage.

For us Bolsheviks, it turned out to be very strange that Russia and China voted in the UN Security Council to impose new monstrous sanctions against the DPRK at the request of the United States. Sanctions that can be qualified as suffocating the DPRK by famine. According to experts, the UN Security Council's harshest resolutions adopted against the DPRK "absolutely and accurately entail negative humanitarian consequences."

The position of the Russian Federation and China when voting in the UN Security Council put them on the same level as the US, the board of imperialist predators. How else can we qualify in essence the rejection of the agreements of the two great powers with the DPRK? Acknowledgment of your defeat? Both great powers cowardly left the DPRK one on one in front of a mad, bloodthirsty predator, feeling the approach of its collapse.

US resolution on sanctions against the DPRK of August 5, 2017. brought the world to a dangerous red line in the beginning of the world armed conflict. And every effort should be made to resolve the conflict on the Korean peninsula in diplomatic ways.

We Bolsheviks do not doubt that our Korean friends stand in the present conditions of the most cruel evil and hatred. So it was always before. So it will be now.

We congratulate the heroic Korean people and their leader Comrade Kim Jong-un on the anniversary of the establishment of the DPRK and wish the socialist country the morning calm of new achievements and victories in the face of the DPRK's confrontation with world imperialism.

J.V. Stalin returns to the pedestal thanks to the peoples’ memory

On August 30 this year, An initiative group of citizens, which includes the members of the AUCPB, the RKRP, our supporters and sympathizers, repeatedly applied to the mayor's office of the city of Novosibirsk with a statement about the location of the monument to Generalissimo J.V.Stalin.

After Stalin's death, monuments erected to him were demolished, and the name and deeds of the Leader were slandered. We demand the restoration of historical justice. The erection of Stalin on a pedestal in the centre of the largest metropolis of the country will put an end to the blackout of the memory of the Leader and of all our heroic Soviet era.

Today, Stalin's authority among the people is the highest and most popular among the last decades and among other outstanding statesmen not only in Russia.

We propose to put a monument to I.V. Stalin to the 100th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, which we celebrate in this year, 2017.

WE recall that the mayor's office refused to install the monument to J.V. Stalin in the Square of the Heroes of the Revolution.

Now we propose to put the monument in the centre of the city on the Red Avenue near the stand of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War (on Sverdlov Square) or in the Novosibirsk Technical College. Pokryshkina (30, Stantsionnaya Street), where on 5 May the Patriot memorial and historical park was opened with busts of Zhukov, Rokossovsky and Talalikhin.

The territory of the Novosibirsk Pokryshkina Technical College as a place for the monument to Stalin was proposed by the mayor's office.

We believe that the best place is the square near the stela to the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

During the war in this place the Siberians gathered and went to the front.

Our new proposal should be considered by the mayor's office at a meeting of the artistic council within a month and a half.

The bust of J.V. Stalin has already been made by us (the author is a sculptor from Novosibirsk, Pavel Markov). We collected money for the monument from across the whole world. Money transfers are coming from all over Russia from Moscow and St. Petersburg (Leningrad) to Vladivostok, from Arkhangelsk to Sevastopol. To date we have collected more than 300 000 rubles.

Now we are raising funds for a granite pedestal.
