Statement of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the AUCPB on the issue of the adoption by the UN Security Council of a resolution on sanctions against the DPRK
On Saturday, August 5, the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted another resolution on the DPRK, which significantly toughens sanctions against this rebellious and freedom-loving socialist country, at the suggestion of the United States. The resolution aims at strangling the people of the DPRK, changing the political regime in this country. According to the US calculations, the full implementation of the provisions of the resolution will reduce Pyongyang's annual foreign exchange earnings, currently amounting to about $ 3 billion, to $ 1 billion. According to experts, the most severe sanctions against the DPRK, adopted by the UN Security Council, "absolutely and accurately entail negative humanitarian consequences." Let's add that the main force that prevents the legitimate desire of Koreans to unite the two parts of Korea is the Americans, who in this case would lose the reason for staying on the peninsula. The stay of Americans in the territory of the Korean peninsula is connected with the fact that after the end of the Second World War the Soviet troops, following an agreement with the DPRK in December 1948,left the peninsula. Americans refused to do this. Today, the Americans in South Korea have a colossal military grouping, including missile defense systems: two airbases, a fleet base and a Marine Corps base (totaling 28.5 thousand people). Most recently, the US deployed the South Korean missile defense system THAAD, capable of intercepting missiles launched from the territory of the DPRK. An even more powerful US military group is located in neighboring Japan: five airbases, two fleet bases, two Marine Corps bases and a radar station (50,000 people).
It should be taken into account that all this military grouping is aimed not only against the DPRK, it is located in close proximity to the borders of China and the Russian Far East, i.e. threatens the entire region of Northeast Asia. Therefore, the vote of the representatives of China and Russia in the UN Security Council for the resolution on sanctions against the DPRK is not only a cowardly, but not a far-sighted step.
The confrontation of the United States with the DPRK has been continuing since the very founding of the DPRK. This confrontation resulted in the bloody Korean War of 1950-1953, in which the United States was defeated, the first to end the war not by victory, but by the signing of a truce only. After the Korean War, the US embarked on pushing the adoption of ever new and frightening resolutions of the UN Security Council against the DPRK aimed at the economic destruction of the DPRK, coupled with constant threats of a preemptive nuclear strike against the DPRK. But the louder the US clanked with nuclear weapons, the more the Koreans' hatred grew to the essentially criminal actions of the United States, an irresistible and just desire to create a threat to the US itself grew. This desire is now realized by the DPRK.
In the last twenty years of the DPRK, in response to ominous threats by the United States, is testing one type of ballistic missile after another. In 2005, under Kim Jong-il, the DPRK declared itself as a nuclear power; on December 12, 2012, it successfully launched its first Earth satellite, Kwangmanson-3; on January 6, 2016, it announced a hydrogen bomb test, on February 7, 2016. launched a space satellite - "Kvanmenson-4", and July 4, 2017 on the US Independence Day - a national holiday in America - made a test developed by DPRK scientists of a powerful ballistic rocket of vertical take-off. On July 29, 2017 the DPRK carried out the second successful test of the advanced intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwaseong-14", which confirmed that the US territory is now under the guns of Korean missiles. The new Korean missiles in their technical parameters and ballistics have ended the myth of the inaccessibility of the territory of the United States for retaliatory strikes against them by the DPRK. The Koreans put an end to US banditry in Northeast Asia!
The latest test of the intercontinental ballistic missile in the DPRK caused a mental shock in the United States because now they can really get an adequate response to their blackmail and military and economic lawlessness in relation to the DPRK. With fear of the United States, as a thief who was caught by the hand, raised a howl about alleged violations of the DPRK by the UN Security Council decisions, forced their vassals, including Russia and China at their own initiative, to adopt a new UN Security Council resolution on sanctions against the DPRK.
It is not by chance that the resolution was adopted at the very moment when the DPRK has already convincingly demonstrated its own opportunity to cause the States themselves unacceptable damage to them. And, thus, the main goal of the DPRK nuclear program has been achieved. The fact that the adoption of the resolution is, as it were, the completion of the "stage", underscores the statement in the UN Security Council of the new Russian ambassador, who said that the way of sanctions pressure on the DPRK has been exhausted. Translated from the diplomatic one, this could mean that Russia will not support further resolutions on the same topic. This would be good!
The DPRK has never attacked anyone and is not going to attack anyone,
but only defends its national interests, its historical choice and
its civilization. The DPRK is creating and testing its nuclear
weapons, because it is currently the only effective factor for
preserving not only its independence, but also human life itself on
the Korean peninsula in the face of unbridled banditry in the United
States. The people of the DPRK selflessly work for the benefit of
their beloved homeland and, as their song says, "does not envy
anyone."
Russia, on the other hand, continues to humblely lobby the United States, calling it its "partners." And it declares its "partnership" constantly instead of "putting the US in its place", even if it is refusing to use unprofitable, unrestrainedly printed green paper dummies - American dollars, buying them up, more precisely - in a gangster stolen national wealth of Russia. Russia should learn from the DPRK how to have and preserve the dignity of the great people, who own untold natural resources and a huge territory in 1/9 of the Earth's terrestrial land (the USSR occupied 1/6 part). People who have a great history and great culture.
We, the Bolsheviks, find it very strange, and monstrous in their consequences, the voting of the Russian Federation and China in the UN Security Council that did not veto the draft of the American resolution that threatens the destruction of the political and economic country and people of the DPRK. How to explain the position of the two great powers against the DPRK in support of the US banditry? Fear for your own skin? But the DPRK nuclear program is strictly defensive in nature and this country is not going to attack anyone! The position taken by Russia and China placed them on the same level as the US, the board of imperialist predators. How else can we qualify in essence the rejection of the previous agreements with the DPRK of these two great powers? Fear of the US? Acknowledgment of your defeat? Both great powers cowardly left the DPRK one on one in front of the insane, bloodthirsty, feeling the approach of their agony predator.
We Bolsheviks believe that Russia made a huge mistake in supporting the United States in adopting a resolution on sanctions against the DPRK by the UN Security Council. HOW and WHO now will believe the agreements of friendship signed with Russia with other countries? How did President Vladimir V. Putin forget about the triumphant meeting of the DPRK people in Pyongyang in 2000? ..
The people of Russia and the Soviet Union have always been on the side of the weak and defended it. The current Russia should be remembered about this historic humane mission of Russia.
The United States by its resolution on sanctions against the DPRK of August 5, 2017 has brought the world to the dangerous red line of the beginning of the world armed conflict. And every effort should be made to resolve the conflict on the Korean peninsula in diplomatic ways.
We demand the withdrawal of all US troops and weapons from the territory of South Korea!
At the same time, history once again confirmed that in order to "eliminate the inevitability of wars, it is necessary to destroy imperialism". This statement of J.V. Stalin today, as never before, remains relevant.
We Bolsheviks do not doubt that our Korean friends stand in the most severe conditions of the modern, inflamed world, which is being destroyed by the gangster policy of the United States. We are confident that the DPRK will necessarily triumph over the forces of evil and hatred. So it was always before. So it will be now.
