Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried articles on the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung .
The Russian paper of the AUCPB, Raboche-Krestiyanskaya Pravda No. 7 in its article said the President is the great man who liberated the Korean people from the colonial rule of Japanese imperialism.
Noting that the behests of the President are becoming brilliant realities in the DPRK, the paper added: The Korean people are living, confident of the future, enjoying the benefits of free medical care and free education.
The Myanmar paper The City News said in an article on July 7 the President defeated two imperialisms and built a socialist power of Korean style on the debris and brought the people only pleasure and happiness.
It introduced the noble trait of the President who always found himself among people and shared weal and woe with them.
The Romanian paper Romania Muncitoare No. 186 carried an article under the title of "President Kim Il Sung is always alive" illustrated with a photo of the President among schoolchildren.
The President is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people, the article noted, adding that this would be unthinkable without his great feats performed for the people in his lifetime and noble popular traits.
