AGGRAVATION OF SOCIAL TENSIONS IN CHINA

In China there is growing social tension. Protests swept several provinces, according to the website www.ng.ru. Armed police disperse demonstrators and arrest those who are considered troublemakers. The alarmed pseudo Chinese communist authorities have increased the budget to law enforcement bodies.

The wave of protests, sometimes involving up to 10 thousand people, spread across several provinces in China. To pacify the protesters, the authorities have to call on special armed units of the police. The largest clash in the last few days, occurred in the county of Lienhua ("Lotus") in Jiangxi Province. On August 16, thousands of peasants blocked the entrance to a chemical plant. Emissions from the plant posed a threat to crops and fisheries, the newspaper "Zhongguo shibao" said, published in Taiwan.

The conflict worsened after hundreds of police arrived. They arrested more than ten people, with several participants in the manifestations, including women, being injured. Then, the protesters blocked national highway number 319.

Previously, a similar incident occurred in the large port city of Dalian. There the protest was attended by about 10 thousand people.

Even Shanghai, a symbol of the rapid growth in China, was uninsured from the riots. The occasion for one of them was abuse from vigilantes against a trader of chestnuts. The saleswoman was not licensed, but in the ensuing skirmish vigilantes knocked down the woman. She lost consciousness. Then a crowd of about 100 people attacked the vigilantes and their vehicles were smashed.

The foreign press writes that the number of collective protests in China has increased and reached to more than 100 thousand a year. Therefore, the authorities have began classifying the information about them. These assumptions can not be verified. But here's a fact: in 2010, budgetary allocations for law enforcement agencies exceeded the amount allocated the army

Wages do not rise, but because people refuse to work beyond the norm and are outraged, "- said the source.

He works at the "Belvest" shoe factory, where the administration is also in violation of labour laws. "We are forced to work at weekends, although this is not spelled out in the contract. If you refuse – you get no bonuses or renewed contract. I have reached targets at 130%, but still I have never received more than 900 thousand rubles."- says the man. According to him, a mood of protest is brewing in the factories, but people are still afraid to openly express their grievances to management and government officials.
